The 997 Turbo is already a monster from the factory. This one goes way past that.
In this video, we walk through a one‑of‑one 997 Turbo build that combines big power, custom aesthetics, and a full chassis/suspension package into a car that’s still streetable – but absolutely not subtle.
This post is the overview of what we changed and why.
Exterior & aero – unique without being ridiculous
The brief on this car was simple: nothing off‑the‑shelf should define it.
Highlights:
- Custom exterior pieces and aero tailored to this specific car
- Subtle body changes that only other Porsche people will fully catch
- Paint/finish choices that make it pop without looking like a wrap special
It still reads as a 997 Turbo… until you look closer.
Wheels, stance, and chassis
Power is useless if the chassis can’t keep up. On this car we:
- Specced wheels to clear big brakes and sit perfectly in the arches
- Chose tires that can actually handle the power
- Dialed in suspension and alignment for aggressive street and occasional track use
The stance isn’t “for photos only.” It’s built to be driven hard.
Power & exhaust – turning it up
Under the decklid is where things get serious:
- Turbo upgrades and supporting hardware (fuel, cooling, etc.)
- Exhaust system tuned for both flow and sound
- Calibration that makes use of the hardware without turning the car into a hand grenade
We talk through what’s been changed, the reasoning behind the choices, and what it feels like on the road.
Interior & details
Inside, the car had to match the exterior and power:
- Updated trim and materials that bring the 997 cabin up to modern expectations
- Key touch points (wheel, shifter, seats) upgraded for feel and control
- Clean wiring and integration so everything works like it belongs there
No random lights, switches, or half‑finished ideas.
Why there’s no other 997 Turbo like it
What makes this car unique isn’t a single part – it’s the combination:
- The specific aero and exterior choices
- The exact wheel/suspension/power recipe
- The owner’s goals and how we aligned the build to them
Could someone copy pieces of it? Sure. But this spec, with this owner, built this way, is a true one‑of‑one.
