Who We Are

We’re Porsche enthusiasts first, parts store second. HBi Auto started as a shop buying, building, and tracking 911s, Caymans, and SUVs long before we ever thought about selling parts online.

HBi Parts Direct is just the online extension of what we already do in the shop: spec, install, and test parts on real customer cars and our own builds – then ship the exact setups we trust to owners all over the country.

Our Cars & Our Shop

On any given day you’ll see everything from GT4 RS and GT3 RS builds to twin‑turbo 993 projects, 991/992 street cars, and Cayenne / Macan daily drivers in the shop.

We don’t guess what works from a catalog – we see the failures, test the fixes, and only keep the parts and brands that hold up.

Why We Started the Parts Store

We kept running into the same problem: customers asking what to buy and getting 20 different answers from forums and generic parts sites.

HBi Parts Direct exists to solve that. Instead of 100 brands you’ve never heard of, we focus on a couple of brands per category that we’d put on our own cars – plus exclusive repair solutions like our lithium‑to‑AGM battery kits and timing repair kits that fix problems we see every week.

How We Choose Parts

We don’t list every brand under the sun just to look big. For each category – exhaust, suspension, brakes, cooling – we focus on two or three brands we actually run on our cars and customer builds, and that have the margin to support a real business.

When we see the same problems over and over and the market doesn’t have a good answer, we build our own. That’s how products like our lithium‑to‑AGM battery conversion kits and Macan timing bolt repair kits were born.

We see what fails, we see what lasts, and that’s what informs what we sell. If it’s on this site, it’s something we’ve tested or would put on our own cars.
