Battery not included. Swap the Taycan's factory 12V lithium battery for a 40Ah AGM battery, with the coding change the car needs so it runs without warnings.

The problem

The Taycan's 12V lithium battery runs the car's computers and wakes the car up. When it fails, the car can refuse to wake, start or charge, and a factory replacement lithium battery is expensive. An AGM battery is cheaper and easy to replace again later, but the car has to be told it's no longer on lithium.

How it works

1. Replace the lithium battery with a 40Ah AGM battery.
2. Plug the coding dongle into the OBD port and let it finish.
3. Unplug the dongle. Done.
